The PEFA Initiative is an autonomous partnership of the European Commission, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and the governments of France, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Slovak Republic, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. PEFA Assessment Framework has been used to identify the strengths and weaknesses of PFM systems in more than 155 countries in different regions around the world.
