Overview
The main objective of this webinar is to offer an exploration of how Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) assessments serve as a key input for developing and implementing robust Public Financial Management (PFM) strategies. By examining the journey from assessment to reform, the event aims to provide insights and practical guidance for government officials, development partners, and practitioners on the ‘Dos’ and ‘Don’ts’ on use of PEFA assessments in designing PFM reform strategies / action plans. The webinar also presents the recent experiences of Government of Philippines on PFM reforms.
A part of 25 years of PEFA celebrations, the webinar serves as a significant milestone in the PEFA initiative, as it marks the welcoming of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as a new partner in the PEFA program.
