An International Working Group on managing Public Finances was created to investigate and debate the effectiveness of international support to Public Financial Management in low - and middle - income countries.
The Working group consulted a large number of PFM experts, including experts from PEFA Secretariat.
The developed Report: ADVICE, MONEY, RESULTS - Rethinking International Support for Managing Public Finance represents findings of the Working Group and offers proposals for the future direction of international support.
In addition to developing the report, the Working Group contributed to a range of international conferences and events and hosted a symposium on Managing Public Finances: Country Perspective and External Support in a Changing landscapes that was held in NYU DC in May 2019.
