About Graphs

PEFA Graphs contains the most recent status of a public national PEFA assessment in any given country as of April 2, 2012.  The data is updated on a six-monthly basis in which PEFA Partners and other agencies that lead PEFA assessments are contacted about the status of their assessments.  The PEFA Secretariat collects and verifies this information before updating the assessment portal. 

Only public national-level country assessment scores may be plotted from the list of countries under Country.

When Single Country is selected the user may produce a graph with multiple Performance Indicators and dimensions plotted over time.  Each plotted score indicates that an assessment was conducted and the indicator and/or dimension was scored for the plotted year. 

When Multiple Countries is selected the user may produce a graph with a single indicator or dimension plotted for multiple countries.  Each plotted score indicates that an assessment was conducted and the indicator and/or dimension was scored for the plotted year. 

The y-axis of the graph contains scores ranging from D to A.  The scoring methodology and the prerequisites for each score may be found in the PEFA Framework booklet.  NR is an abbreviation for no score and is incomparable to the other scores.
